Storage of food for baby, different foods to feed?
Probably could ask this in the cooking section but I figured here Moms would be in the know.
Banana – how do you store an opened banana?
Mango – how do you pick a ripe one, does it need to be cooked before being fed to baby and how do you store the left over for the next day or so?
Avocado – how do you tell it’s ripe?
plums – cook or mash up really ripe ones?
Also any experiences on feeding baby some of the less common foods like persimmons, desert pears, asparagus, spinach, etc… Other ideas for stage 1 fresh fruits and veggies to give my baby a wide range of stuff to try. Jarred food seems to have about 6 flavours and that’s it and I am not ready to move him to stews and mixed stuff yet.
